Southern Ocean Lodge features just 25 ocean-facing suites, each one designed to feel like a seamless extension of the landscape. Interiors are warm, tactile and pared-back, with sunken lounges, hand-finished timber, stone bathrooms, and panoramic windows that bring the Southern Ocean right into the room.
The entry-level Flinders Suites are generous and beautifully appointed, while the newer Ocean Retreats and Ocean Pavilion take it a step further with private plunge pools and outdoor firepits — perfect for watching the sun dip behind the cliffs with a glass of local wine in hand. For something truly indulgent, the Ocean Pavilion offers two bedrooms, expansive indoor-outdoor living, and uninterrupted clifftop views — ideal for couples travelling together or a special celebration.

The lodge is best suited to adults and older teens, with a strong focus on relaxation, food, and nature. Children over 10 are welcome but there are no specific kids’ facilities.
